Saturday night at the Drag Strip

 

Saturday Night Bracket   Drag Rules:

The Race season runs from Aug. 27th 2011 thru Aug. 25th 2012
Drag Race Starts at 6pm every Saturday night unless for some unforeseen circumstance (holidays, emergencies, etc.)

*  Qualifying for the year-end  championship, a racer must have attended at least ten races during the season and won at least one race, or placed second at least 3 times during the race season.

*  Test and tune starts at5 pm end promptly 5:45 pm. If in line at 5:45 you will not be able to finish your pass.
Late entries that have come in after test and tune is over,  will be able to make one pass per car  at Race Director's discretion and only if time permits. Note quarters are not need for open test and tune during time frame specified.

*
Entry fee $6.00 per car; maximum number of car that can be entered is 6 cars.  Only under first round are $3.oo buy- Back.

* Entry Form must be complete and submitted by 5:45pm.
* Late entries may happen but the entry fee of $6 and the buy-back of $3 are paid per car and they will start in the second round. Note if late due to traffic please give a courtesy call Thank you.

* Concourse will be held the first and third Saturday during each month. The car entered in Concourse needs to be entered in the Race.  The winner will receive a plaque.  The winning car can only win once in a race season.

* The Track will be cleaned thoroughly  at 3 pm. Only cleaning up to the clean line (second white line on the track) is permitted during the race.  NO EXCEPTION PASS THIS LINE

* Light money is for best reaction time and award during 1st round race.
* If there is two racers that have the same reaction time, The  first racer that set the time gets the money.
* 50% of the light money is calculated by the number of entries times $1.00 the remainder is distributed 1st thru 4th place prize.

*When called to the line for your race the first racer called is in the left lane and the second racer is in the Right lane.
*At Race Director's discretion a "one minute clock" will be used to ensure the race finishes in a timely manner. This will be related to the number of race cars that are entered.
* Drivers are responsible for verifying there Dial-ins once given to the Race Director.

* "Burn Out" process may not go past the third white line on the track.
*First Offense results in a Warning; Second may result in Disqualification.

*  Drag Glue may not go pasted the first white line.  The only glue allowed to be used is M452 clear koford drag glue.

* Racer must observe tape lines "on Deck"  these are to prevent crowding and gives the racer space in concentrating on the race.

* Any race car that back out of the Beams after the Get Ready come on the screen is disqualified. Unless brought to the Race director attention prior to start.

* Bye-runs in all rounds preceding first round will be determined by best reaction time.

* If no time read at the finish line that race car loses. If it happens again in the same lane to another car there will be a re-run of the past race do malfunction of the end ET.

* Pay-out is determined on calculations posted at Drag Tower.
If the entrys fall below 55 cars that the calculations will be half the pay-out.

In addition to no negative talk, whether about the store or track program, racers will be prohibited by store management to attend farther races.
